Because the activity B is not in critical path of crashed schedule and have total slack of 13 weeks, so by increasing the duration by 3 weeks the available total slack will be correspondingly reduced by 3 weeks only. here shall be no impact by increasing the duration of activity B by 3 weeks on overall crashed schedule. So, I suggest not to spend any amount to crash the activity B Market Assessment.
